THE ATLANTIC SLAVE TRADE WAS NOT ONLY AN AFRICANS LARGEST
MIGRATION, BUT IS THE LARGEST AN THE MOST SIGNIFICANT WORLD'S MIGRATIONS.
What exactly is migration…? Migration is when people move to other places to fulfill their needs such as looking for job. Since the end of the Industrial Revolution, the world's turning point, more people had migrated to other places to look for better living condition for themselves. During the Atlantic slave trade in the sixteenth centuries to the nineteen centuries, millions and millions of Africans were transported to North America and the Caribbean Islands to work as a slave. This is the first example of an Africans migrating to other countries even though it is a forced migration because they were captured and forced to separated from their family and were thrown in other places unknown to them. When a group of Africans moved to a country, such as America, they have adapt to Americans traditions such as their cultures, languages, and religions. As well as the Americans friend of them who have also learned an Africans’ language ad their tradition. Which this is a new formation of another language known as an Afro-Americans or Creoles. Due to the fact that this is the largest forced migration in the world, it had created a permanent relationship that joins Africa and America together because many Africans were shipped and send to many places around America. As that the Africans have adapted with the American’s traditions, called an Afro-American, the Afro-American has also influenced by the people along the Bantu regions as well. The slaves’ population had affected the result of the development of the Afro-American culture so much because there was no Afro-American at first, but the Atlantic Slave Trade has created a new region within it coincidently. Even though the Afro-American culture do not spread around like other places, it only stays in specifics area, but they were well known around America still because Christianity has helped to spread them around the area and become well known, but while the African slaves were a Christian, the white culture they kept is also included as their elements for their native culture to remain and pass on to other generations. Because arts can be explains and are understandable as in words, the African Americans has blended and performed their traditional style with cooking, wood carving, storytelling such as telling myths, and singing. As well as due to the event of an Atlantic Slave trade, the Afro-Americans has adapted to the American’s traditions and culture that they have combined and mixed cultures together, example is how they make food. They joined and old African style of cooking food together with European foods. This has connected them together even more and has performed a great example for migration in Africa.
Badly, the good side of the African Diaspora stops just that. Saying the fact that there are positive doesn’t mean that it is because there
are more fact to support the bad side of the African Diaspora because there’s only one good things about it which happens very rarely. The push factor of the event is the lack of jobbing and low payment wages. As well as workers are un happy in their job and living condition and there’s also a problem of the political instability. These explain that they’re lack of basic needs and money to support themselves and their family. However the pull factor is not. It is completely opposite from the push factor. In the pull factor, workers are highly paid and they have good work as well as there’s more culture influence.
